The gifted Chelsea teenager joined Palace on loan until the end of season on March 27th 2008.
Bath-born Sinclair prefers to play on the left wing but can play on the other side or as a centre forward.
A product of the Bristol Rovers youth system since the age of 9, Sinclair made his first team debut for the Pirates at the age of 15 before moving to Chelsea in July 2005 for a £200,000 fee that could go up by a further £750,000.
Sinclair was called up for Chelsea's squad to play Macclesfield Town in the FA Cup on 6th January 2007 and made his debut four days later, coming on as a substitute late in a League Cup game against Wycombe Wanderers.
With limited first team opportunities at Stamford Bridge, Sinclair went on loan to Plymouth in January 2007 and two other London clubs during the 2007/08 season.
Of the three goals he scored in spells at Plymouth, QPR and Charlton Athletic, two of them came against Palace.
When his loan stint at the Valley was cancelled, Palace boss Neil Warnock moved quickly to ensure he had Sinclair, who has represented England at Under 17,18 and 19 levels, for the vital Championship run-in.
