EVOLUTION!

Cheerleading has evolved in the last decade from the old image of high kicks and shaking pom poms to a very technical and highly skilled physical activity.
The driving force in this change is the competition circuit, and many teams are formed purely for competition. Many facets unique to cheerleading make the sport so attract to today's young ladies and, in contrast to many other sports, cheerleaders can maintain an attractive image while performing, wearing a feminine uniform. Cheerleaders are able to draw awe and applause with their death defying skills of tosses and pyramids and, in contrast to other artistic sports, cheerleaders train and perform as a team, developing strong levels of trust, commitment and bonding.
Want to give cheerleading a try? Then why not come along on Thursday nights at 7:30pm in Wallington.
