TC: 'A Nice Step Up'
Tony Craig became the first Palace's first new signing of the summer on Wednesday morning when he made the short trip across south London from Millwall.
The 22-year-old defender has signed a three year contract with the Eagles and is just pleased to have sorted out the move after first learning of a possible move at the start of June.
"I heard about the interest around three weeks ago and this week the two clubs agreed a fee and it's all been finalised now," he told Palace World.
"It's a nice step up for me. I've played in the Championship before with Millwall and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it.
"Hopefully we're looking to get in the play-offs and go up so we all want a good season for the club."
A switch to Selhurst Park also suits the Thamesmead-raised left back geographically, having started his career at the Den as a youngster.
"It's nice because I can still live at home where I am now and not much changes really, apart from joining Crystal Palace, which I'm looking forward to," he added.
The full interview with Tony can be seen now on Palace World, which is currently available for £1.99!
