JORDAN MESSAGE TO FANS

Having read today's edition of the Croydon Advertiser I am greatly concerned at the negative slant to their back page article. I feel I must clarify what I was trying to say in the brief conversation I had with a journalist.
Firstly let me be clear, I have the greatest regard for all Palace supporters, whether they are season ticket holders or fans who come to games when they can. I have at all times since buying the club, sought to give as much value as possible at the same time as building a top flight club, which after all, is what we all want.
I am conscious that this article portrays my views as uncaring and detached from Palace supporters' views, where as in fact the exact opposite applies, my sole reason for buying the club was because I was a fan and my sole reason for staying is because of you the fans.
In the article I was trying to highlight the importance of season ticket holders rather than downplay the significance of other supporters, as well as explaining in order for me to achieve all our wishes of a top flight club we need to generate revenues that all go back into the club to achieve this.
I am disappointed that in expressing my desires to push on, this article has come out in this way and I regret any offence it has caused.
