SAVE SAVE SAVE AND HELP YOUR CLUB

Crystal Palace's campaign for promotion to the Premiership received a massive boost with the launch today of the Crystal Palace Club Savers Account provided by Norwich and Peterborough Building Society (N&P), which could provide thousands of pounds for team strengthening.
Loyal Eagles followers can kick-off the new season in style by signing up to the Club's very own Internet savings account free of charge.
The Club Savers Account has been set up to aid Crystal Palace's on-field fortunes whilst allowing their fans an easy way to gain a competitive level of interest on their own savings. With the new account, both the Club and the fans win.
The appeal for supporters taking out the Club Savers Account is that each year Crystal Palace will receive a bonus calculated from the average total balance held in all the fans' accounts during the previous calendar year. This means every pound saved by fans will have a real impact on the Club and could mean the difference between making new signings or keeping hold of key players.
Further good news for Palace comes from figures based on last season's average attendance at league games, showing that Eagles fans could see the Club's transfer budget boosted by £243,000* thanks to their own savings accounts.
Crystal Palace Manager, Peter Taylor, comments: "This is a real opportunity for Eagles fans to get involved in driving the club towards the Premiership whilst helping themselves at the same time. The money these savings accounts will generate for the club would obviously be very welcome to develop the team further. Our fans already play an enormous part, and this scheme enables them to have an even bigger impact on the field as well as off it.
"This savings account will allow our fans to continue their support off the pitch as the more the fan saves in their account, the more they are directly helping our Club."
Alison Rolls, speaking for Crystal Palace Club Saver Account, said: "We hope this new account will prove a real winner for Crystal Palace. Since their launch, this type of account has been hugely successful for other clubs. Norwich City has received over £2m, Peterborough United over £800,000 and Lincoln City over £600,000. That's why this initiative could make a major difference to the Club's financial future.
"Unlike credit card schemes where supporters have to spend to benefit the Club, fans can help themselves by saving and also aid the Club. We hope every Crystal Palace supporter will open an account. It could mean a great deal to this Club."
